Tip: You will need some 3D analglyphic red/green or red/blue lenses to vie today's images
I've been a fan of three-dimensional photography since I was a kid and my cousin Mitzi took her brother jimmy and I to see the 3D film Bwana Devil in 1952. When I learned that Panasonic offered a 3D lens—the Lumix G 12.5mm f/12—for their mirrorless camera system I knew I had to get one. While no longer available, these lenses are sometimes (key words) available through Amazon and you may be able to find one at KEH Camera, eBay or the usual used camera sources. Another possibility is the Lumix DMC-3D1-K that although discontinued is a 3D camera, not a lens, alternative that can also shoot conventional 2D images. It should be available from Amazon and any venue that sells used cameras.
When the Lumix G 12.5mm f/12 is attached, a Lumix Micro Four-thirds cameras left-eye and right-eye images are captured simultaneously by the two lenses and recorded using a side-by-side method. You can view them on a Panasonic Viera 3D TV but not on my Samsung 3D television. You can create your own anaglyphic 3D images that can be posted on your blog, like these from an English car show, by converting the file using free software, such as StereoPhoto Maker, a Windows-only program that Mac OS users can run under Apple's Boot Camp and a copy of Microsoft windows.
If you want to view the image here in 3D, you can pick up red/cyan 3D glasses from many sources including Amazon, who even offers clip-on's for eyeglass wearers.
