In November Canon will be releasing its latest mirrorless camera, the EOS M5, which borrows a number of features from the company's DSLR line.
In sharing similar specs with that of the Canon EOS 80D, the EOS M5 welcomes a 24.4-megapixel APS-C sensor that is said to equate to nearly the same image quality as the 80D.
The EOS M5 also has Dual Pixel CMOS autofocus, which is designed to help users with shots in video mode, in addition to a 9-frames-per-second burst shooting speed. The camera includes Bluetooth, WiFi and NFC pairing as well.
Weighing in at 13.4 ounces, the EOS M5 does, however, have a lower-rated battery life in comparison to the aforementioned DSLR model.
Nonetheless, Canon's new EOS M5 is scheduled to arrive in November with a price tag of $980 USD for the body.
After taking a look at the EOS M5, be sure to check out Canon's 5D Mark IV that has built-in Wi-Fi and shoots 4K video.
