Adobe has issued an update for its Camera Raw software that adds support for Fujifilm's new X-2 mirrorless camera, as well as fixes some minor bugs.
Version 9.6.1 adds support for the XT-2, a brand-new mirrorless camera with internal 4K video capabilities, which is garnering significant buzz. Fujifilm cameras rarely receive support from underwater housing manufacturers, but this could be the exception.
The update also fixes two minor issues when dealing with DNG files. The first was a bug that caused uncompressed DNGs from the Fuji X-E2 to be unreadable. Another error prevented users from creating a panorama from two HDR DNG source images. Both bugs should now be fixed.
The details of the update can be found here. The update should be automatically applied for those of you who use Creative Cloud.
